Myles Millard oversees all aspects of the firm’s PBR platform

CentreCourt has appointed Myles Millard as partner and group head to oversee all aspects of the firm’s purpose-built rental platform.

Millard’s first day was Jan. 12, reporting to Gavin Cheung, managing partner and president.

The newly created role reflects CentreCourt’s view that a dedicated leader is critical to executing its PBR strategy efficiently and at scale, alongside its established high-rise condominium business. The appointment signals CentreCourt’s conviction in the long-term fundamentals of rental housing and its commitment to building a scalable, institutionally oriented PBR platform.

“Myles brings a unique combination of development experience and institutional investment expertise,” said Andrew Hoffman, founding partner and chief executive. “As market dislocation continues to reset land values, we see a rare opportunity to acquire well-located, transit-oriented sites at highly attractive
pricing, while preserving optionality for either condominium or purpose-built rental development as market conditions evolve.”

Millard made the move from Hines, departing in December as managing director. Before that, he worked at Cadillac Fairview and Concert Properties.

Since 2010, CentreCourt delivered over 10,000 homes and $5.6bn in development value. In 2022, it launched CentreCourt Platform 2, a $400m fully committed long-term equity fund.
